Every installation is fully certified, documented, and backed by manufacturer warranty. We bring our own Fluke and Psiber WireXpert equipment to every job — test reports and as-built documentation are standard, not an extra.
Structured Cabling
The backbone of any modern building. KC2 installs Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a copper cabling tested to exceed current performance standards — not just meet them. Every installation is designed for the environment: airflow, containment, building structure, and programme.
Common on office fit-outs, stadium builds, healthcare facilities, and public sector projects. Wherever the infrastructure has to be right first time and has to last.
As-built documentation is standard on every job. Main contractors get a clean pack at handover — cable schedules, test reports, outlet labelling, and record drawings as appropriate to the scope.
Fibre Optics
When copper won't reach — in distance, in bandwidth, or in EMI-sensitive environments — fibre is the answer. KC2 installs both single-mode and multimode fibre, depending on the application and the venue.
All fusion splicing and termination is carried out by certified technicians. Fibre routes are planned to accommodate building fabric, containment runs, and minimum bend radii. Every circuit is tested and certified on completion.
Fibre installations are common on stadium trunk runs, campus networks, data centre interconnects, and any project requiring long-distance or high-bandwidth backbone connectivity.
Wireless Networks
High-density venues need wireless designed before a cable is run. KC2 uses Ekahau to carry out predictive surveys and heat mapping — the design is validated against the building, not guessed at.
We install APs for stadiums, concourses, hospitality areas, healthcare wards, and campus environments. Every access point is positioned to specification, cabled to standard, and documented on completion.
Post-installation surveys confirm the network performs as designed. If it doesn't, we fix it — that's what certification means.
Electrical & UPS
Network infrastructure is only as reliable as its power supply. KC2 specifies and installs power distribution, UPS systems, and redundancy planning for data centres, comms rooms, and mission-critical environments.
UPS specification is matched to the load, the criticality, and the runtime requirement. Redundant feeds, PDUs, and monitoring are scoped for environments where downtime is not acceptable.
We work alongside M&E contractors and main contractors to ensure power and data infrastructure are planned and installed in sequence — no conflicts, no rework.
Testing & Certification
We bring our own Fluke and Psiber WireXpert test equipment to every job. Every link is tested to standard. Every result is documented. The test pack is part of the handover — not an afterthought.
Full link certification covers: wire map, length, insertion loss, return loss, NEXT, PSANEXT, PSACRF, and propagation delay. WireXpert reports are provided for every outlet on the installation, labelled and cross-referenced to as-built drawings.
