But the technology is only as good as the infrastructure behind it. Cameras, RFID readers, entry gates, networking, and connectivity all have to be installed, integrated, and tested to Amazon's specification. That's where KC2 comes in.

Every Just Walk Out installation begins with detailed infrastructure design. We work from Amazon's technical specifications and the venue's structural drawings to produce a complete cable and network architecture plan — sensor positions, camera locations, network topology, power requirements, and containment routes.
Design is validated before a single cable is ordered. Main contractors get a design pack that integrates with the wider building programme.
Full structured cabling installation for every element of the Just Walk Out system: ceiling-mounted cameras and computer vision sensors, RFID reader arrays above shelving, entry and exit gate infrastructure, and all networking hardware patching and connectivity.
All cabling is installed to standard, labelled, and documented. For sensitive or security-cleared venues, our engineers hold appropriate clearances as required by the site.
The Just Walk Out system requires a reliable, high-performance network connection to function. We design and configure the Wi-Fi and wired connectivity, integrate with the venue's existing IT infrastructure, and ensure the network is dimensioned for peak load — not just average conditions.
For stadium and event-day environments, this means the system has to perform under the most demanding conditions — full venue, peak throughput, multiple concurrent transactions.
End-to-end testing of every element before the system goes live. Cabling tested with WireXpert, network performance validated, and the complete infrastructure commissioned in coordination with Amazon's technical team.
Full as-built documentation is provided at completion — cable schedules, test reports, outlet records, network diagrams, and commissioning sign-off. Post-launch support is available for ongoing infrastructure needs.

Many high-value venues — stadiums, airports, government-adjacent facilities — have access restrictions. Our engineers hold MOD and Police clearance, meaning we can work where others can't.
Full as-built certification is standard. Cable schedules, WireXpert test reports, network documentation, and commissioning sign-off are delivered as a clean pack at handover — clearing the snagging list before it starts.
